• Why chi o •
On this page, you will find personal testimonies as to why our sisters chose Chi Omega and why they continue to choose this sisterhood over and over again each day. Chi Omega brings out our differences, while also reminding us why we are the same. We are forever indebted to this Fraternity and all that she has done to bring us together and make us the best versions of ourselves.

"Having grown up together, Elizabeth and I share many of the same values and goals, It's been so rewarding to introduce her to this sisterhood of women who will lift her up and make her the greatest version of herself."

PC' 18 "I never saw myself joining a sorority, let alone the same sorority as Emmy. We get along well, but we are very different people. It wasn't until I visited Chi O that I felt that there was a place for me. I am loved and accepted for just being myself! I can't wait to make new memories with all of my sisters (biological and sorority)!"

"When I was going through recruitment, I loved Chi O the whole time. I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I am an only child so I really wanted to find sisters that would always be there. The feeling I got in the Chi O suite was just different and special.
The four years I had an active member were filled with laughter and fun. I got to travel Europe with sisters, dance all night, and cheer at bike race with women who were like me and also different in the best ways. As amazing as my undergraduate years were, it was after graduation that I could see the bigger picture that Chi O provided. My four best friends are Chi O sisters and we met because of our connection to this organization. It was at an alum luncheon that the idea of starting a book club came about and through that book club I found my biggest supporters. These four women have been by my side and we have experienced weddings, babies, divorce, moves, and everything in between and I wouldn’t want to do life without them. I credit Chi O with bringing us together!" Alumna Sister Holly Titus

"I was torn between Chi O and another sorority. What brought me to Chi O was that I saw so many role models in the chapter. They were the girls that I wanted to be, rather than the girls that I saw me just 'fitting in' with. When I was given the line of the symphony, "to be womanly always, discouraged never,' nothing has ever meant more. I am really appreciative of of I have connected with these other women."
